San Jose - EL TEZAL

This is the best restaurant at the Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas. Go for dinner, ask what is best and get that. Waitstaff won 't steer you wrong. Most of the other restaurants/staff on site don 't know their Merlots from their Cabernets but this place does. I loved the Merlot served here. The other restaurants the red wine offered can be most anything and you won 't know what you 're getting until you read the label as it 's being poured in your glass. Ask to be seated outside as the views are spectacular here.

Unfortunately the a la carte menu, I personally had a pitiful service, I ordered lobster with ravioli, they gave me shrimp because of the size and overcooked. The next day I ordered lamb ribs and they served me three of different thickness, with the same cooking time, so the thick one came out raw, the medium one cooked, and the thinner one came out crackling. Los camarones gratinados, el ceviche de mero con lychee y leche de coco, y las fajitas son magníficos.

Las fajitas, el ceviche de mero con crema de coco y lychee, y los camarones gratinados son pura esencia del sabor mexicano. ¡Delicioso!
