Lovely stay. Rooms are decent sized. Included breakfast spread had lots of options. Good location, close to grocery stores and gas stations. The outside area did smell like animals for those who are sensitive.

It was a decent place in a great location. Only big downside would be the bed needs more comfort. It was very hard, and the TV is faced in the wrong direction from the bed. Other than that it was easy to get it, nice staff, and good overall.

One of the most beautiful and best hotels in Iceland. Beautiful, clean, great spa, excellent staff, excellent service. The restaurant is one of our favorites. Great food and exceptional staff. I always look forward to come back.

Lake Hotel Egilsstadir was one of our favourite places to stay during our 10 day holiday in Iceland. We stayed in the Double Room Lake Side. The room (including bathroom) was extremely clean, updated, and very spacious (our largest room we had during our entire stay). It was a very peaceful setting with our room having the lake view. The breakfast was amazing! Lots of delicious options. We plan on coming back to Iceland and will be sure to book part of our stay here. Highly recommend this Hotel.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful setting in a very convenient location. Friendly, helpful staff, fabulous rooms with top notch amenities. Great restaurant bar wit delicious complimentary breakfast. I highly recommend !
