Menu is as expected. the staff was friendly and friendly. rib and huh night dinner were good, nice if I don't want almost food.
On a Saturday shortly after lunch came to the Swiss chalet and the one side of the restaurant had a private function that continued (picked like a baby shower or something). The whole page was completely packed. We waited a while. We were just before the deposit, as we thought, even if we got it, it could be time before we get our food. A Gal came by and apologized as they had the big group. Understood. We sat on the other side and it was quite about the size of the group on the other side of the restaurant. Our server came by very quickly and we placed our order. Safe enough in typical Swiss chalet fashion, the plates were on the table in under 10 minutes. Considering the size of the group, we thought we'd wait a while. I went with the hot chicken sandwich. It's one of my meals, because it's total comfort food. He's hot! Overall, we had experienced a bad service in the past and no great meals in this Swiss chalet. I always liked her food and wanted to come back and give them another try. I'm glad. I just hope this is a turn for the better place.
Server/Manager ever. we (group of adults with children) came on the last Saturday 2nd March 2019 at 20:30 o'clock. the server told us we need to hurry as they close at 9:30. at the order she looks sooo mad! I ordered (while...still stand up) 2 chicken legs that is in their menu and she told me that I can only get what is in the kitchen coz they almost close! she even forgot to ask for our drinks! I was angry at the treatment so I told her that she should always be happy and not curious when she is in this kind of business. I even asked her if we were caucases, she would treat us as rude, or just because we are filipinos or chineses. I even told her if she treated her own people (Chinese or Asian) so. then she said that she is not even Chinese and used that as her defense to accuse me that I was rude. I don't think she really understands what I said. then came a customer before he left the restaurant (with her family) and embraced her when she began to tell her things. is that a manager? How is this customer/friend she spoke to? isn't she the one who is supposed to solve the problem and not involve other people? So I asked the manager instead so we can complain properly and just figure out that she is the manager! we're just going. we are so annoyed and mad at the unprofessional treatment we received from a server/manager who was not properly trained for this business.
We were out with friends and decided to go to Swiss Chalet for dinner. We haven’t been before and it was busy but our waitress took forever to get anything. It took over 30 mins once we finally ordered to actually get our food and...it came out as if it wasn’t all ready at once. My husband ordered beef and chicken with mash potatoes. The meal looked nothing like the picture and the mashed potatoes were instant. Our waitress never returned to ask if we got everything ok or if we needed anything to drink. Our empty plates sat there and we sat there for 45 mins waiting for our waitress to return when she did we asked to order dessert for the kids, to get our bill and two waters. This took another 20 mins when we finally asked for the manager. When the manager showed up she didn’t apologize she just said they were busy with big tables. We told her it’s not acceptable. She said she would do something Then the waitress showed up with our bill which was wrong and we advised her the manger said she would do something for us. She left and came back and put the bill together and took 20% off still not acceptable. The waitress advised us that she had made a mistake and wasn’t aware of it until the manager pointed it out to her. This is when the waitress and or the manager should have come to us and explained but that didn’t happen and the manager just lied to us and said it was busy. It not acceptable to lie to customers and we will not be going back and will be telling our friends of the lack of service.
