Bidra med feedbackApart from typical beverage options (soft drinks, sparkling water, etc.) the place was incredible and beautiful I felt as if I were in California. I had the fondue with a friend and it was worth every penny. Parking is obviously hard, especially at a hockey night, but worth it!
This is my favorite dessert spot! It is a bit difficult to find because it is not visible from 104 ave and there is a lot of construction in the area, but of course, that is not a fault of the restaurant. So far I tried the Black Jack, a waffle cone in Matcha and a cup of dark chocolate cocoa. You gave vouchers a few weeks back to attract customers so my waffle cone was free and the dark chocolate cocoa bought in, you get a free! I like they have black sesameis here, as not many places in Edmonton offer it:
Chocolate chocolate chocolate chocolate chocolate chocolate chocolate chocolate YES!! If chocolate is your thing, it's your place. I had the Mexicacao hot chocolate and it was fantastic with good dark chocolate taste and a touch of spicy heat. Also the strawberry crepe had with dark chocolate and it was good, but could dark chocolate. Decor is beautiful. Service was friendly and friendly and the order came quite fast. Overall, the restaurant was clean like the laundry room. We'll come back and try one of the chocolate waffle items. I enjoyed the visit.
Only tried the waffle, it was delicious! Very very pricey though. The decor is nice but the menu is confusing and needs some clarification (3 different kinds of hot cocoa). The staff here are wonderfully helpful though! The location is tucked in a corner of the Edmonton tower, very hard to find unfortunately.. Hopefully better access will come as the building is finished!
Didn't meet expectations. I feel a bit catfished honestly by all the wonderful looking food photos. Food presentation is a 10/10 but the taste is 5/10. I ordered the smoked salmon bagel, it was soggy and had barely an ounce of salmon and cost $13! My date ordered the chicken waffle. Looked great but was lacking flavor. It was my first visit, but my date told me he was reluctant to take me because the food didn't taste great. Also ordered the $15 fruit crepe, which had fresh bananas and strawberries but the thin crepe tasted like cold paper. Not sweet or savory. Whipped cream was $1.50 to add. The cappuccino was alright. Needless to say food didn't meet expectations. The tables were a bit sticky and the paper menus were torn and tattered, not laminated, kind of gross. No music in background, could hear every other conversation in the restaurant. Nice looking decor and lighting. Overall this place is overpriced overrated.
