Burger Baron No. 14 - Edmonton

I decided to grab a burger quickly tonight after driving around for a while. The service was decent, but the building looked a little run down. I was really hoping for a big, satisfying burger, so I ordered the Rudy's special along with a small order of onion rings. Unfortunately, it was just okay in my opinion. The buns were too large for my liking, so I ended up leaving the bottom half uneaten. The toppings were good, but not outstanding. However, I must say that the onion rings were delicious. Overall, it was just an average burger spot in my book.

Burger Baron!!! You blew me away! I used to love this place growing up in Regina and was ecstatic to find one in Edmonton while I was visiting. I ordered the mushroom burger with cheese and mushroom sauce, along with a side of onion rings. I washed it all down with a chocolate shake. The onion rings were perfectly crispy and not overly greasy, while the shake was thick and ice cold. It was just as delicious as I remembered from my childhood. Thank you, Burger Baron staff. I will definitely be coming back again.

We've been driving to the Burgerbaron for years to 82 years. The food is always delicious and the service is always very friendly. I highly recommend this place where he stays or drive thru.

They have been in business for about 60 years. That means something. Try the Baron Burger. It is terrific. It is made with their special sauce and doesn't need the normal hamburger fixings (tomato, lettuce etc). Have it just as it comes.

So my burger and onion rings was less than $8. They had about 12 flavours of milkshake available. I am sure that if I went often enough I could find the right taste for me, as they had a wide variety of burgers. I had...the mushroom burger and after a taste realized it would have been better with cheese, but I still enjoyed what I got. They have a pizza burger, mozza burger and a few others I forget. Fast. 4 people working in the kitchen. Drive through available. Does not have nice new looking decor. I was in and out in about 20 minutes including eating. Since it has been here for years, I am surprised I am the first to review.
