Arabia Express - Edmonton

Went here with a couple of hungover buddies. The donairs were tasty and filling. A friend of theirs does baklava which was very good. The donairs were not too saucy.

This place has been opened for about 4 months and we just tried it for the first time. Its more of a takeout place but they do have some tables available if you want to east in. We ate there since we don't live close by so I can say that it wasn't the greatest atmosphere since its quite small but the food made up for it. We had the beef and chicken platters both are $15 and it was really worth it. We found the chicken to be the best of the two since the beef was a bit overcooked but it was still very tasty. I would order both again but the chicken was definitely better. They make their own hummus which was also very good and their own garlic sauce. The only thing that wasn't very good was their pita bread which they buy and were a bit stale. Perhaps ask them to heat them up so they are a bit more soft.

I was informed that the wings at this restaurant were incredible.

The restaurant used to offer boneless ribs, but now they only have bone-in ribs. Not a fan of this change. The quality of the food is inconsistent.

The service at the restaurant was lacking. The waitress did not inquire about the quality of our meal, offer us more drinks, or ask if we were interested in dessert.
