Pho Anh Dao - Edison

We ordered the no 1 noodle soup and pork chop. The soup is salty and the pork chop is really dry. I don’t know why people gave this place higher rate. For me, this is below standard pho place. My friend ordered a salad and there were two pieces of plastic inside of the food. Not to mention there was a small bug inside of our soup. Not coming back.

We had extremely high expectations as this restaurant was highly suggested by a family friend, however, it fell short. The place is in a strip mall, but once inside it was very welcoming and clean. It had a good vibe and we were excited. Started off with Goi Cuon and Nem Cuon as our appetizers which were fresh, vibrant and had a great peanut/soy dipping sauce that exceeded our expectations. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the meal. We had Thai tea which was very good as well. Now to the main course, we both ordered Pho based solely on the recommendation, both of us were so disappointed, so much so that we didn’t even take home any of the leftovers, a 1st in long time. The Pho Xe Lua had “well done brisket”, little did I know it meant the toughest meat which was absolutely devoid of flavor, its as if they cooked it to total dryness then boiled every scintilla of flavor from that piece of meat, not a pleasant piece of meat to say the least. The broth was less than average, my own stock would blow this away. The other Pho was Pho Tai that also had a lack of flavor in its broth. Thank goodness for the hot chili sauce and jalapenos on the table to make it a bit more palatable and the copious amount of basil to get some flavor. Very disappointing meal, maybe it was just a bad day, I will never know however. Lastly, the service was great and friendly.

Only pho place I will ever go to! All of the food is absolutely delicious

I have tried many Pho restaurants myself and I know what 's good. Lunch menu is gone. Ordered a XL pho and the soup has so much MSG and so little real stuff . There is also a small bug in there. One of the worst I have had. Pork chop is burnt at the edge and dry like a jerky. Again, one of the worst. My friend got plastics in her salad . They were all not to the standard and worse than my own cooking. I don 't know how it has so many good rating. Maybe the chef is different but that would be my last time to go there with so many better choices in the area.

Lovely service, delicious food and reasonable pricing. What else can you ask for? most certainly the best Vietnamese restaurant in the area
