Bidra med feedbackStuart makes the best speck rolls I've ever had, served with plenty of HP brown sauce that makes my mouth water. They also have Wi-Fi and a collection of Ingrid's photos for sale. Do you think a leisurely Sunday morning with lapsang tea and a generous hostess might be what I need more of?
Owners Ingrid and Stuart have done a fantastic job creating a café in the front of their art gallery. They offer an intriguing selection of cakes and an impressive variety of scones. Each cake is served with fruit, honey, and yogurt, and there's no extra charge for cream. I highly recommend the pear and cinnamon cake with fresh blueberries. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to unwind and catch up with friends.
This charming little café gallery offers excellent food and lovely dishes, making it a perfect spot for a lunch break away from the bustle of the city center. Guests can also enjoy the artwork on display while they dine. The cakes are delicious and beautifully presented, though the selection remains the same and they can sometimes be a bit dry. The owners, Ingrid and Stuart, add a delightful touch to the experience.
This must be one of my favorite places for a Sunday after stockbridge market; oh and sometimes for a pre-market bacon butty. with art on the wall (some of artists/owners ingrid,) it is a more comfortable place to relax. stuart is the masterpiece behind baking and its mahoosive scene are notorious throughout the entire cake community in edinburgh. its pastries are served with fresh fruit and crème fraîche; no nancy pancy discs here, these are many big wedges. the favorites are rooted and ingwer, planted and simply a simple ingwer with a crisp icing that is not excessively sweet. free wifi keeps addictive happy. bon p, as it is known, is also the home of fabbytits becher!
My first ever scone and omg I couldn't ask for a better experience. The owners are really nice, the shop is cute and has a lot of nice paintings exposed (even in the restrooms! . The cinnamon scone was perfect (I tried other scones while in Edinburgh and couldn't find a single one that could compete with it , the cream, the jam and the tea were also really good. The tableware was the cutest. I loved it and I would recommend it to anyone. (5.40£ for the scone and the tea .
