A great deli. full of delicious food.The chicken liver pate is delicious and also the Brie. Lots of other wonderful cheese and bread.

Was walking around Stockbridge and noticed this little shop by chance. I must admit I rolled my eyes when I saw the sign that said something about their bread being the best in the city. It is bread after all. Bought a granary loaf. I’m now thankful that I don’t live in Edinburgh because I’d double in size eating a whole loaf everyday. This was indeed the best bread I’ve had in my life. Lovely helpful staff too.

Superb collection of cheese, and other delicious goodies! Chicken liver paté is sublime, and the sliced delicious roast beef a real treat. Highly recommended for baked goods and bread, olive oil, local sea salt, and any sorts of pickles, chutney, jams, sauces and other exciting comestibles! Absolutely worth a trip, and be prepared to be tempted

Staff were lovely, cheese was delicious and incredibly well priced. So many free samples! Will definitely be returning

It is very odd that one person‘s critical comment comes top when reviews of this excellent deli are sought. The shop (not a restaurant) is small but very well stocked, service is always friendly and the produce is delicious. No accounting for taste but the busy turnover suggests there are way more positives than the sole negative on this page. Go and try it for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
