Frankie Benny's - Edinburgh, City of

We stopped by for lunch on a whim due to the awful weather. Aside from the beautiful view, the food was very tasty and hit the spot nicely. The best part of our visit was the service however. We were looked after by Ellie, she may have been a manager given her attire and she was fantastic with the kids. Nothing was too much bother for her and she was the epitome of ‘service with a smile’. We will certainly stop by again, this time for a planned visit.

I was pleasantly surprise by the quality of the food. The food is what it is, it's not michelin star but I've been at one of these recently and I can tell you for the money I paid here and the standard of the food and service I know which one offers great value for money. A special mention also to the 2 waiters who were excellent considering they were very busy.

Visiting there with my friend for a lunch. Had a delicious Vegan hot dog. Friendly staff and quick service. Lovely view of ocean.

I believe Ocean terminal has the worst Frank&Benny’s I ever had a chance to visit. I had dinner in this place couple times now before cinema. Every time I was disappointed and because of how bad food was last time, I won’t be coming again… First of all Garlic bread , if you can even call it like that as it’s nothing like garlic bread , it’s pizza dough that’s absolutely drowning in oil!! Hardly taste any garlic , absolutely terrible. Buttermilk chicken burger was the worst burger I ever ate, chicken was drowning in oil !! It was so greasy that after couple bites my stomach actually started to hurt. I left most of my meal on plate. Why I planned to still pay for it even though I don’t think I should’ve since burger was cooked terribly) I was really surprised when server came to take dishes and saw my plate was half full, she didn’t even asked was there something wrong with food. This wasn’t the first time I was served terribly cooked food here but it was definitely worst.

Walked in after having a really bad day to get some lunch on Saturday the 9th September at about 13:35. Waited at the door to be seated only for the two women at the bar to look at me, not say anything to me, and then complain to each other that I was there alone and that they “didn’t want to seat me.” Already embarrassing when I’m there alone and for two women to basically mock me for being by myself was the cherry on the cake of a fantastic day.
