Bidra med feedbackI ordered a chicken korma, chicken seekh kebab, garlic naan, and stuffed aloo paratha. The chicken korma was pleasantly creamy and mild, with just a hint of sweetness and a nice hit of chili heat. The chicken pieces were tender, as were the chunks of kebab, all made from breast meat. The kebab came with chips that were quite tasty, and the aloo paratha was also delicious. We would have happily rated Salaam Namaste 4 out of 5 based on our take-out experience, but the naan bread was a bit doughy, which brought down the score a bit. Overall, it’s a great spot for take-out, and I would definitely return for more.
I was in search of a great curry and stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant. The food is incredibly flavorful, and the service is top-notch. The staff is very helpful, and I learned last week that it's under new management. I wish them all the best!
We've sampled every Indian takeout option in Edenvale, but we find ourselves returning to Salaam Namaaste. The food is consistently excellent—whether it's the butter chicken, lamb korma, or vindaloo, everything is always tender, rich, and full of flavor. Though we've never dined in, we've ordered takeout at least seven times and have yet to be disappointed.
This restaurant is more of a take- away place than sit down dining....... But they make the best samosas I've ever tasted. It's definitely worth trying. Staff and owner are extremely friendly and helpful.
<br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ <br/ Chicken Jalfrezi was good. Mild spice is no spice at all so order medium for a touch of hotness. Disappointed that salad was included in the menu but found none once I got home.
