He reheats leftover ribs. No bones should be soft enough to chew through. And his online prices are not that low anymore. He is married to a man. A woman hater. Of course he is going to ban me. Not a nice guy. Phony!
DELICIOUS AUTHENTIC BBQ! Excellent food, warm hospitality and cozy atmosphere. The decor made for a fun setting to enjoy our fall-off-the-bone ribs. Just YUM! Keep it up!
As a fellow Texan, I have to say that this place is very good. I went in with my girl today and we both enjoyed the food. The meat stands on its own without it being smothered with sauce which is the true Texas BBQ way. My favorite meats were the pork ribs and the brisket. Everything else was good. The one complain I do have is the young guy that took our order had a bad attitude. He looked like he didn’t even want to be there, and had this intense look on his face like he was mad. He was speaking very rude to the guy in the back slicing up the meat. I get we all have bad days, but it really made the customers waiting in line uncomfortable judging by their body language. The older gentleman at the register was very kind. I take it that he is the owner. Very respectful and saved it for the others. Will definitely be going back.
We spent about $40 on a 3 meat combo, side of wings and a pop. The brisket was the biggest disappointment dry, and they gave us a stingy amount not even 1.5 full slices. The smoke flavor did not complement the turkey well, and the wings were downright awful. The ribs were the only decent meat we tried, not outstanding but decent compared to the rest. Even if we had loved the food, the amount didn't feel like a good value for what we paid.
What a great spot! Had an early dinner here with my wife last night. The owners were super nice and gave us the run down! Super friendly, I got the three meat plate (sliced brisket, pork and sausage) with beans, dirty rice and Texas toast! Good portions for the cost! Pork was my favorite, the brisket could have been a tad more moist and sausage was just ok. My wife got the rib special, the ribs were good but it seemed like we had some that were old/dry and not as fresh and others that were great. Some fell right off the bone which was nice, I noticed the membrane was still on the ribs which is not typical? Very cozy vibes in here though! Oh they also had a homemade BBQ sauce that was perfect, not too smoky and just the right consistency! We will be back to try some more! Cheers!
