Karpfen - Eberbach

We were eating in the restaurant yesterday and it was a Gaumenschmauß. the complete staff is very nice and attentive. great ambiente and tastefully decorated. we are thrilled.

In 1804 this listed house was built directly in the old town and since then in family ownership. With great attention to detail, the house and the outbuilding were preserved historically and the new requirements were met with modern elements. The special at the Hotel Karpfen is the sgraffito painting a scratching technique on multicolored plaster pads. The front of the hotel shows the history of Eberbach in 14 pictures. The pictures were created in 1934 by Eberbacher Künstler Hemberger. Opening hours apply to the restaurant. The hotel reception is open daily. Despite the pedestrian zone, a trip is possible for hotel visitors. The house has an elevator and is connected to a walk to the historic annex. We didn't stay overnight, so no statement about the guest rooms. The food was delicious and sufficiently portioned, the price appropriate and the service very nice and attentive..
