Turtle Tom's - Eaton Rapids

Turtle Tom 's is fairly new and the folks participating in the Urban Air weekend are really enjoying this new addition. We went in after someone said they had a chocolate soda and they liked it. I wanted a razzle (aka flurry or blizzard) but also was thinking about a sundae or a scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone. My scooper was awesome she ended up making a razzle, put it in a waffle cone and topped it with hot fudge. Great customer service!

We stumbled upon this little shop while driving through the area. The ice cream was quite bland; the soft serve was decent, but the hand-dipped flavors lacked any real taste. The peanut butter flavor tasted overly processed. While the owner and staff were very friendly to everyone else, they didn’t extend the same courtesy to us. It feels very much like a local spot, and if you’re not from the area, I wouldn’t recommend it. You might feel unwelcome, and they make that sentiment clear. I definitely won’t be returning.

The kids had a great time, but unfortunately, I couldn't enjoy it because they aren't able to accommodate peanut allergies, except for the soft serve ice cream. I could have easily gotten that at Burger King.
