Bidra med feedbackGreat value, friendly, efficient service amazing food. from the breakfast, toasties brotpudding, which I have tried so far here, all were delicious top quality ingredients. I'm going to the caffe in eastbourne.
Ordered a Full English breakfast and a black coffee. Owner was reminiscent of Basil Fawlty but without the humour. Coffee served first but was white not black, so changed it. Waited for half an hour, then prompted by myself, then realised he had forgotten my order. Eventually it arrived, the two eggs were conjoined with yoke over cooked and upside down, the bacon raised my blood pressure due its high salt content along with being burnt, the sausages appeared to be reheated from being cooked a week prior along with being burnt, tomatoes were tasteless along with the mushrooms totally saturated in oil. The trap is, he makes you pay before you eat
Having been brought up on Pie and Mash it was disgusting and uneatable, what more can I say except for dirty cutlery, never had chilli vinegar like it. They are trying to do so many different meals whilst ignoring what people go there for. Avoid at all costs if you want real pie and mash.
In Eastbourne wanting Light Lunch found this small Diner just off the main Pedestrian Zone, near The Townhouse Pub. £3 for freshly made 12 Baguette
Went here with the family- wasn’t sure at first , as the cafe looked a bit quiet. But what a gem. Wife and I ordered BLTs and hands down best ever BLTs we ever had. I’d go back to Eastbourne just for that. Good service too. Much above expectations
