I found hair in my ice cream, so I immediately sent feedback to the company. I got a reply from the store they wanted me to exchange the old ice cream (which I threw away the day before) for a new one….I have never been asked to exchange an ice cream I bought a day ago…congratulations Cold Stone…..I will not spend any more money at your stores
Let me first state that Coldstone is my favorite ice cream store and I have been buying ice cream at this location (and other locations) since the chain came to our area. I 've always enjoyed great customer service and never made a complaint about any products at ANY location...until now. This weekend, I ordered the Chocolate Devotion with Silk Almond Milk icecream from the East Windsor location, Saturday evening. When I took my first bite, the chocolate chips were so hard and old, I nearly cracked my tooth! Since this is my usual order at Coldstone, I knew this wasn 't the usual way it tasted. I went back inside the store and stood in line for 15 minutes to ask if they could replace it with a different order because the chips were stale. The young lady behind the counter said, ' 'We haven 't had anyone else complain. That 's just how we make it. We can 't make you another order. ' ' When I asked to speak to a manager, she said, ' 'There is no manager here. Do you want me to call the corporate office? You 'll be waiting a long time. ' ' I repeated that I would just like something different, not a refund. She shrugged her shoulders and said, ' 'Well, I don 't know what you want me to do. We don 't really do that here. ' ' Rather than make a scene, I informed her I would be making a complaint and she once again shrugged and said, ' 'Okay. ' ' As I stated previously, my family loves Coldstone. With so many locations closing, I would assume the remaining stores hope to stay in business. Serving stale food and having a cavalier attitude about it is a sure way to lose customers. On top of that, the place looks beat up and dirty inside. There were brown spots on the walls and trash everywhere. The spoon and napkin dispensers were also empty. They just don 't care anymore and it shows.
You can customize the ice creams however you like ! But it can be very sweet and the small scoop is very generous portion
