Red Chilli Szechuan Chinese Restaurant

Love the food here. The beef tongue & tripe in chilli sauce is amazing (and crazy spicy too)! It's gets full pretty quick early, even on weekdays.

Not the best experience! Service was ok but the food was not what I expected from a szechuan restaurant. Having visited china on many occasions i have a good knowledge of what food should taste like this did not come anywhere near being authentic. The rice was was of very poor standard and the rest of the dishes left a lot to be desired. As a result not even half of them were eaten. Whoever runs this restaurant needs to review their dishes and serve what they say they can.

Its a average place that dont really feel like specialize in the spicy szechuan food. it just feels like a chinese restraunt from anywhere. go to here if you crave for chinese food that you dont really eat anyway while they server for 2 or more people so you will be paying for that amount even when alone

It's the branch from the northbridge one and i think they are a bit better in terms of taste. This is a Szechuan style Chinese restaurant. Mostly are spicy so make sure if you do not eat spicy food, need to let them know not to use chilli or the Szechuan pepper as it might numb your tongue or taste bud. The outstanding dish has to be the prawn as they use nice huge prawns and it is so tasty! The mushroom salad is also light and refreshing. The chicken on another hand has too much bones and it's a bit frustrating eating them but we managed to finish it all in the end, I won't recommend it if you're hungry and want to eat food quickly.
