Really good food! platter looks small in photos but when you are eating it it’s very fulfilling. Paid around $17-19 for each platter for four people. The customer service was lovely and wait time was faster than expected!!
Went here with my family and the food is amazing! Had the waffles and the servings are generous. Tasted from others' orders the creamy mushrooms, fish and chips and omelette. Everything was well seasoned and just delicious. Seems like you can't really go wrong in ordering from their kitchen menu. Staff were really nice and very accomodating. It took a while for our food to come but understandable since they are very busy during brunch. Worth the wait though.
Wasn’t really for me but I can see how people would like how it’s like a retreat. It’s quite homey and I feel would be great for older people or for a change of pace. Food was decent although a bit pricy. Staff was friendly and the coffee was good which I feel like is the main part of a cafe. The treats next to the counter weren’t bad either, but it’s just not for everyone. My actual score for Historic Cafe would be between three to four but since you can’t give that I rounded up mainly because of the atmosphere.
Great ambience here my favourite secret cafe. ; Drinks are good wine and coffee.Service good and very friendly, and sociable. They go the extra mile. ' Everything was top notch best coffee, fab European cakes, great food Thai curry was exceptionally good, and they had lovely offerings for a classy lunch Pulled pork pie, home made soup, etcThis is a historic house, original homestead so the home made food is a great fit ' Also they have great Devonshire Teas.S
