Derailed Taphouse - East Stroudsburg

Ever since Derailed recovered from the big fire on Crystal Street, and then redesigned the place, it has become our family 's go to, spanning three generations. They don 't keep the same menu for the entire year, so you will never be food-bored going there. The servers are super-friendly and make the customers feel most welcome. I highly recommend Derailed, especially for families of ESU students during move-in days, parents ' weekend, homecoming, etc. A great down home and local experience for out-of-towners!

Great experience here while visiting the poconos. It's sometimes hard to find a good vegan option that isn't a beyond burger and my bf raved about his sandwich. Comes with vegan cheddar too which I find to be rare when you're not in a big city. Our waitress was very accommodating, we wanted to know if the reason the pretzel wasn't marked vegan was just because of the dipping sauces but she asked the kitchen for us and they unfortunately use an egg wash. It's okay thought because both our meals were filling and we wanted to save room for ice cream next door : I got the Caesar salad and added shrimp which is my go to. I liked that they added whole anchovies to the dish. I prefer my Caesar's to be more fishy and that satisfied my craving We sat outside and it was a nice little street with a few shops and restaurants around so it was a cute vibe.

Live music pulled us in. Patio allows dogs. Apps were great and plentiful. Our server was attentive. We went multiple times during our visit to the area. Nice relaxing time

Always a great place, portions are Hugh enough to feed 2 people. It's a must stop when in the area

Food was above average Service was amazing The back patio wasn't that great but was doable.
