Captain D's - East Rockingham

My last recent visit was better they seem to have hired more competent staff.

Fish was hot and fresh... really good..Hushpuppies normally my favorite thing at capt d... this time they was just ok.. not hot and fresh as I had hoped for.

Great seafood everything I've ate at captain d's has been phenomenal sometimes the fish can be a bit undercooked for my preference but no biggie if it is I usually set it in the oven for about 6 mins on 350its only on several occasions this has happened also minor mistakes such as leaving out condiments or for example last time I ordered in i told them I wanted a spicy big fish sandwich but instead I got regular glad I checked my plate before i left they replaced and corected my order but I had to wait 15 mins with all this said I am still satisfied overall the food taste great,affordable one of my favorite seafood restaurants

Usually all Captain D's be on point with their country style fish dinner. But this location here has my fish cold, dried up, hard and in tiny pieces? And I think they did this because I went through the drive-thru. Luckily I was headed outta town, because I would of took it back?

I was hungry for a fish plate in a hurry, I had small coupons that came in the mail, 2 piece and fries 6 bucks. Hit the spot and it was all just cooked, nothing cold. I ate an early dinner in the parking lot and it was great. I ordered spicy fish and it actually was, unlike other restaurant chains with spicy . Next time I will build up an appetite and go in and get some catfish and some real sides and enjoy my meal. I hope they got the fried okra right ?.
