Bidra med feedbackSecond time here and I have experience bad service both times and it wasn't busy either time. This time some of the food namely the prawns and mussels were not cooked properly. To top it all off the manager just sits behind the counter watching funny videos that you can here from across the room and laughs. Photo attached shows uncooked prawn tale. They did at least bring out new food when it was pointed out when they eventually came back to our table.
We had guests that spoke highly of Ocean Basket in Gauteng, but were utterly disappointed when they had a touch of food poisoning after we had ordered food for 10 people. So embarrassing! What a waste of money . Never coming back again
This is my worst experience at any Ocean Basket. Our plates were dirty. Our halloumi started, which we sent back, had some weird gray stuff on it. The sides arrived after our meal. While the food tasted great, the presentation was not great I've never seen such tiny calamari rings in my life. I'd hate to know how bad it can get since tonight there were only 4 tables to serve. Even though the manager said she'd not charge for the halloumi, she did anyway. Whoever owns this franchise needs to take a serious look at what is going on in their business.
For 11 AM the food was exceptional we don't usually go to ocean basket because of poor quality food but the food was extra tasty and quite frankly phenomenal I'm really surprised that this is ocean basket we were the first in the restaurant so food was quick less than 20 min for a platter for 2 would definitely recommend
I'm sorry bit this is the last time I go to OB . Chips and fish served was not done. Rice was cold . Not to mention the prawns , absolutely no taste either. Quality has dropped by more than a mile !
