Sansu Sushi And Cocktails

If you want to spend 3 hours at dinner then go here. We waited for 1 hour and 45 minutes for our food. Our waitress failed to acknowledge us for a good 50 minutes and didn’t even check in with us. This is the second time I have experienced these wait times at Sansu. After all of this they didn’t even offer to comp our food. By far the WORST service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. Advice to management: don’t take delivery/to go orders on weekends. I will never go here again. Focus on the getting the orders out in a reasonable time frame.

First time visiting here on March 21, 2023. First, the staff were very nice, and helpful to a couple of us who had no real experience with sushi. The location is very clean, and it has a nice ambiance. Comfortable seating. Vast and diverse menu with enough to satisfy anyone, even picky eaters. The miso soup and the salad were both outstanding. The dressing on the salad was really some of the best I 've had in a sushi restaurant. The sushi itself, perfect. It was made well, it was served and presented very nice, and it tasted very good. Even my wife, who was trying sushi for the first time loved it. I loved the nigiri especially. My wife 's favorite thing was the Mexican Roll . But all of it was great. Overall, it 's a bit pricy, but we ordered quite a bit because we didn 't know what we might like and not like. Easy to give this place 5 stars. Will absolutely be returning.

This was my second visit to Sansu. On both occasions, I ordered the tempura shrimp and vegetables. It was not at all what I expected when ordering the first time, but it was good . It is light yet crispy and flavorful. Just what I needed before returning to work.

Sansu is the best Sushi place in the Greater Lansing Area. My favorite and most regularly visited place these days. The good is great, the servers are friendly and ambi3nce is awesome. Love the in ground seating in one section of the restaurant. Highly recommend Sansu

Really good, the sushi Masters were very creative with our main dish presentation, also it was delicious : our sashimi main plate represented a beautiful swan and the Edibles were most delectable. Sushi rolls, we had many, we're out of this world. Please see photos. So sorry we got into the ditch before I got the pics, couldn't wait.
