Frontier - East Haven

This little food truck in New Haven at the corner of Elm and College is the place to hit up for an authentic slice of caribbean cuisine! The owner is attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of her food, and the staff take after the owner, great group of hardworking people! The food is like I said, authentic and tasty, quick bites and good prices=HAPPINESS! My favorite is the guava lava empanada, sweet and salty, perfect combination of flavors, I'm in love LOL

Incredible food at great prices! I tried five different empanadas, and each one was absolutely fantastic. You really can't beat getting five empanadas for just $10. The Guava bomb is out of this world! It's definitely worth the trip from East Rock just to enjoy a meal here. This food truck is usually found at Tweed Airport.
