Sainsbury's Cafe - East Hampshire

They closed down the restaurant, and I'm not sure why. Many people miss it, so I recommend they go to Waitrose instead. They have tried it and prefer it. Sainsburys has declined in quality. Christmas sweets that were £3.50 last week are now £5 this week. Shame on you, Sainsburys.

My husband and I really enjoy the bacon sandwich at this café. The bacon is always high quality and the bread is fresh. It's very tasty.

I don't typically order coffee at this restaurant, but I do come here for breakfast occasionally. I highly recommend the scrambled eggs on toast - they always come out light and fluffy. Just remember to season them yourself, as the staff doesn't do it for you. The service provided by Susie, Julie, Aneesa, and Shirley is always great.

The service in this cafe is good, the staff are friendly and helpful, with the exception of a lady called Una not sure of spelling) who can be surly. The scrambled egg is a favourite, as was the bacon sandwiches. I find the coffee to not be drinkable, but then I drink very strong black coffee, and any nastiness in the coffee blend is bound to show up, and it definitely does here.

Good for breakfast and midday hot snacks, but not full meals. Excellent retreat for a relax and coffee while spouse shopping.
