71-20 Crossroads - Early

We (a party of 4) stopped Friday, Oct. 11 on our way home. It took 15 mins. to just get waited on. Then it took another 45 mins. to get our sandwiches. The food was horrible! 1 had ordered a tenderloin that was so tough it was inedible. It was never tenderized. Another ordered a grilled chicken sandwich that tasted spoiled. Then there was a brisket sandwich that was sitting in water on a steam table (we had a view of the kitchen) so it just tasted like roast beef. They were miserably understaffed and the cook was under educated as to how to run the kitchen. We will definitely not go back!!!

I 've eaten here 3 times now, and every time the food and service were phenomenal! I tried the hot beef, the breakfast burger, and the chicken cordon bleu. Every time the food was delicious and hot (some places it 's barely lukewarm) and portions were huge! You can 't go wrong with the hot beef, but the homemade biscuit that came with the chicken cordon bleu and that served as the bun for the breakfast burger is the stuff dreams are made of. I live in a city where you can literally have any food at any time, but the food here is 100% worth the drive. It 's a must-stop for me now every time I come home. Go eat there. seriously.
