My family and I have been loyal customers of this restaurant for more than 30 years. Having dined at various Pakistani, Bengali, and Indian restaurants throughout the United Kingdom, including some well-known ones, I can confidently say that Shahee surpasses them all. The food is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. Mr Malik, the owner and head chef, is incredibly talented. All dishes are freshly prepared and always taste amazing. Some of my favorite dishes include chicken pakoras, butter chicken, karai gosht, chicken jalfrezi, and stuffed parathas. Although the decor may be a bit outdated, the exceptional food more than makes up for it. The restaurant also offers great takeaway options. Despite living in Reading, which is 32 miles away from Southall, I regularly make the trip to dine in or order takeout because the food is truly worth traveling over 60 miles for.
