Bidra med feedbackI ordered the nachos as a safe option .. who knew nachos could be so poorly done. The chicken was flavorless and the cheese was clumpy. Not to mention the food is extremely overpriced as canned sodas are $3. Extremely dissatisfied after a $13 meal.
Everything is very overpriced. A can of coke runs you $3, so being your drinks from elsewhere if you have to eat from here. The food overall was very bland (shrimp taco, beef taco, plain Burrito). Nothing had decent seasoning, the shrimp tacos fell apart, and the chips weren't as crisp as they should've been.2 stars because it didn't make me sick.
Waited 30 min for nachos w/guacamole (not even waiting for any meat) at 3pm on a Saturday. Not busy, just incomprehensibly slow. Maybe something was going on that I didn't know about, all of the staff seemed stressed and the person at the register seemed like they wanted to be anywhere but there. Nachos were fine; chips were fresh, salsa was flavorful; but not worth a 30 min wait. It was something you could have made at home. I do appreciate their beeper system so you can look at other things or find a table while you wait.
I had the tacos here, three different kinds of tacos, all were greasy. Ingredients were thrown into the tortilla and they had raw onions in them. Not worth it. The tacos made my face smell.
This is for the location in Durham. I'd fallen out of love with Carrburritos a few years ago, but I hoped that a whole new location meant they'd found their groove again. They haven't. It's just not a good burrito anymore and it just makes me sad. Our beeper also didn't work, so no telling how long our order had just been sitting there.
