Bidra med feedbackNathan, the owner, is very knowledgeable about nutrition. The meals are prepared with care and love. The restaurant has a cozy diner atmosphere that is perfect for a quick bite to eat. Whether you are passing through Durham on your way to Wiarton or Tobermory, be sure to make a stop here. And if you miss breakfast, don't worry - you can always come by for a hand-dipped Chapman's Ice Cream cone, a local favorite.
I went to this restaurant with a group of 10 people, and the staff quickly organized to accommodate us. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the meal was a great value. Four of us had a satisfying meal for less than $30! The coffee was good (which is important to me), and there was plenty of it. My eggs were cooked perfectly, which is a rare occurrence in my dining experiences. Although the decor was a bit outdated and the condiments were in packets, the meal was delicious. I definitely plan on returning in the future.
Nathan is incredibly friendly and laid-back. The Western sandwiches here are simply amazing - just the perfect combination of flavors. He even made it possible for us to get a takeout order of the Wild West Western Sandwich.
Cute little place, needs some work on the whole concept. Very friendly and inviting place. Needs some work on the menu to make it, (something to make people come back). Right now it is in place with what around it . Needs to stand out.Looking forward to going back.
Recently opened in August our usual breakfast place was having an event so we thought we would try it. Prices looked decent and we had good vibes from the very friendly staff. It is at the location of the Former Rowan Moon Bistro which is permanently closed as this has replaced it. They should have kept the decor as painting white over red is a bit of a mess.Packets of ketchup, salt and pepper should be replaced with bottles and shakers it was underwhelming. They are still using the same dishes I notice from the original eatery which dont make a lot of sense for breakfast.Bacon was thin almost see thru, all the portions were rather small. Paid $1.79 for a side order of hashbrowns and only received about 3 tablespoons worth seemed stingy. The portion should be more generous.Toast thin and cold despite asking for well toasted and buttered.Breakfast for 2 with pricey sideorder almost $20 despite the $3.99 and $5.99 advertised plates. It's not an experience I will ever repeat.Hope it is growing new business pains or this location will once again need a new tennant.
