Spice Odysee - Busselton

Planning ahead for our week in Margaret River, we contacted Sathish to order a take away dinner for our family of 15. Even though it was two months before our trip, he was prompt and obliging, and invited us to order off the full restaurant menu for pick up at his food truck beachside in Dunsborough. Thinking this would be a stop gap Asian fix for us midway through our trip to Australia, and usually at the point we are craving some Asian, we were BLOWN AWAY by how delicious and LOVINGLY PREPARED his curries were. His menu is large and varied, and every curry had its own distinctive colour and mix of spices. Many Indian restaurants serve up curries that sound different but taste and look similar. You will not find that at Spice Odysee. As Malaysians who love and eat Indian and other curries regularly, we think his curries are very very special. In particular, we loved his pumpkin & spinach dhal, eggplant curry, okra masala and the Goan fish curry which had large chunks of very fresh fish. Even though we had to drive 25 mins home, the naan and roti were so thoughtfully wrapped that they were still warm and fluffy. Pricing is very reasonable as his portions are generous.

We had a wonderful take away from the Margaret River rotary park. The food is so authentic, Satish is very friendly and we always have a great experience. We have eaten our way through the menu and everything gets a five star rating ❤️

We saw the good reviews and decided to give this a try. We drove from Busselton to the old dunsburough boat ramp. I'm so glad we did because the food was so yummy and we sat on the grass overlooking the ocean to eat which was lovely.

Amazing curry tonight, these guys are something special. I tried a vegetable dish and it was great, I wish they had more choice/different curries each week!
