Hardee's - Dunn

First time going to this location. I said good morning to the gentleman working the front and he turns his back to me and says nothing. I went in here at 1045-ish, and was told they were still serving breakfast. I wanted breakfast, so it was perfect. Started to view the menu, and it was a lunch version. Waited a few moments, and politely asked them if they had a breakfast menu available. The man said nothing, but waited for me to order. I said thank you, but I think I'm going to go to the drive through instead. I just left. Wasn't really in the mood after all of that.

What a SUPREME Disappoinment. I just drove in from GA and searched something close to my destination and generally have a good experience at most Hardee's but, this one was not worth the money. The fries were lukewarm. The Chicken tenders were cold and wrong. I asked for the new Honey Q flavor and got regular ones. Best thing about this meal was the fountain drink. Service was dry and mediocre. What a waste of my money.

My experience at most Hardy's/Carl Jr's is that the food is rarely hot, my order is either wrong, cold, smashed, or doesn't taste very good. My hash browns at this location were not hot or crispy, were mushy/watery inside. I didn't think you could mess up tots... but I was wrong. I am an OTR driver and have been to A LOT of locations and the above is the norm, not the exception at you locations in the truck stops where you have a captive audience.

The Jumbo Chili dog is a regular size for $2.99. Probably 2/$3 on the roll at the circle K in the other half of the building. The hot honey chicken sandwich was beautiful. Had a decent amount of heat, but not excessive enough to eat it unpleasantly. No cups today so no combos / drinks. It wasn't perfect, but it was enough. Not the employees owe that they ran out of cups so they didn't take off stars. Only minus one for the Jumbo Chili dog does not even come near to fill the polystyrene container. Nice, pleasant people work there. I'll be back someday.

Nice little hardee is connected to truck stop/tank station. Everything you need in one place! Fast and friendly service.
