Hardee's - Dunn

The food was tasty, and the staff was very friendly. The meat was genuine, unlike what you'd find at Burger King. However, the root beer was a bit flat. The tables were clean, and both the floors and restrooms were tidy. Overall, it was a great experience for fast food.

I specifically traveled to this 24-hour restaurant at 9:50 PM, only to discover it was closed. It was extremely frustrating to waste my time and fuel, especially since the staff member present didn't provide any explanation for the closure. They merely shrugged and walked away, which I found quite rude. I would have held off on writing this review if someone had just answered the intercom or come to the window to explain what was going on. Instead, I was ignored while trying to get their attention, which is completely unacceptable. I will not be returning to this place.

The biscuits were a bit larger than those at most other places. However, I should clarify that if I want butter on my cookies, I expect it to be mixed in rather than just placed on top. It would be more flavorful that way.

The restaurant never stays open late, which is surprising considering it's a truck stop. However, the food is always hot and fresh.

This Hardee's is disappointing. First of all, the menu displayed one price, but I was charged $2 more and was told the menu was incorrect—what a shame. They were out of chicken tenders, and the wait was incredibly long; the three parties ahead of me ended up leaving before anyone came to the register. They also forgot part of my order, and by the time I realized it, I was already on I-95. To top it off, the fries were ice cold.
