The Lounge At Doubletree By Hilton Dundee

We were warmly welcomed at the reception and received our room keys along with some hot cookies—a lovely touch! The rooms were clean, modern, and spacious. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options. A female staff member took great care of us during our meal. The pancake machine was fantastic, and we really enjoyed the house-made smoothies. The gym was well-equipped and up to date. However, the swimming pool was a bit small, as were the changing rooms. There were a few young people in the pool area who were on their phones, despite clear signage indicating that this was not allowed. The young female employee appeared to know them and seemed unconcerned, which was disappointing. If it weren't for this situation, I would have given a perfect score.

The breakfast selection was great and included seating on the veranda. I especially enjoyed the fresh fruits, natural yogurt, and baked goods. The pool area was small, but it provided a lovely way to unwind after a busy day. The steam bath and sauna were particularly enjoyable. While the gym was quite small, it was sufficient for light exercises. One downside was that our suite was cold when we arrived due to the heating being off. The bedroom warmed up quickly, but the living room took longer to heat. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The rooms themselves were pleasant, equipped with tea, coffee, and a clean kettle. The bathroom featured a nice selection of shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, and soap. The only downside was that the rooms seemed a bit worn out; the carpets were tired and in need of replacement, and the lighting could be improved. A central light fixture would help brighten the space better than the reliance on night lights. While the room wasn't particularly large, the dim lighting didn't help, and the bathroom extractor fan wasn't very efficient, especially when the mirrors fogged up. Overall, it was a decent room with good amenities, and the bed was very comfortable. If you're visiting Dundee, this hotel is worth considering.

The staff were all very friendly and very courteous. eating was great, the room spacious. bathroom was very spacious, great showers. the garden outdoor was a very relaxing environment to have an evening drink. matratze too hard for my lust and the coffee machine at the breakfast was very slow, which meant that it was always a waiter for coffee, but would highly recommend.

Beautiful old building that has had a modern extension. We were allocated a suite in the older part of the hotel which was up a few flights of stairs (no lift access, which may be an issue if you have mobility issues or heavy luggage ; . The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was served in a conservatory styled room which over looked the well maintained garden.
