Sweet Frog - Dundalk

We've patronized this location for many years. Birthday party for my daughter, school church fundraisers, and/or just for a treat. Not once have we had a bad experience. It's always clean, ingredients are fresh, and the staff are very friendly.

I stopped by after taking my doggos for a vet visit. They were pretty mad, so I thought some FroYo would make them feel better. I was able to park so that the car was clearly visible from inside the store, so I left it run with the AC on, locked it up and headed inside. I was able to grab 2 of the color change bowls they make great cereal bowls at home and fill one with a treat for them to split with eachother and one for a treat for me... to also split between the 3 of us. I was even allowed to take an extra paper bowl so they could eat theirs at the same time. Because COVID 19 can't keep its grubby little germs from invading even the most sacred of places, in addition to wearing a mask I was asked to put on food grade gloves supplied on the far wall. A far better way to keep it clean I must admit! The only downside here? Whoever designed the parking lot for this mini shopping center... well... they shouldn't be designing parking lots, we'll leave it at that but that's not Sweet Frogs fault. Tip: Blue Cotton Candy Strawberry ???? is an amazing combo!

Such a fun place to take the kids. The bright colors and cartoon frogs had the kids running threw the shop door ready to build a sundae! Lots of flavors and literally every topping you can imagine! You fill your own cup with self serve icecream or fro-yo, then you work your way down the toppings line filling your cup with an assortment of candy, cookies, fruits, nuts, cookie dough, marshmallows of your choosing. You work your way down to the syrups and drizzle on your favorite syrup, peanut butter, Carmel etc. Then you top it off with a whipped cream of your choosing and ending at the sprinkles portion of the buffet where you shake on any of the bunch to choose from. Head down to the cashier where you'll find a foodscale that you place your cup on, and will be charged by its weight. The choices aren't over yet though! After you pay you get to pick which spoon you'd like... from bright green, bright pink or COLOR CHANGING which was a big hit with the kiddos! Giving a 4 star instead of 5 ONLY because a bunch of the fro-yo flavors were out of stock when we went and also because no indoor seating allowed. I understand we're in the middle of a pandemic but some social distanced tables should be allowed. It's too cold to take the kids outside to eat on the curb. So we were stuck eating in the car with the kids trying to eat their ice creams crammed in their carseats dropping toppings and melted ice cream all over the place. Otherwise I highly recommend for a special treat and fun outing!

The Good: This place is always a go-to for ice cream for my family. They have a wide variety of ice cream flavors and dozens of topping you can choose from--from gummy bears and chocolate chips to sprinkles and various fruits (like strawberries and blueberries). The employees are always nice and respectful and the establishment is always spotless when I frequent it. They even had crayons and paper out for the kids. The Bad: I have nothing bad to say about this place. Judgment: This is a great place to get ice cream. I recommend this place.
