Rebels Backyard Grill - Duncan

Rebels Backyard Grill (name for local high school) is a place where you can easily drive and not notice, but has surprisingly good food. I was just once, but that was a good experience. The menu is not the typical sandwiches and frits type of menu that you usually expect in a restaurant of this nature. You have some nice dishes. Prices are not cheap, but not bad. I had a brisket sandwich. It was thinly shaved brisket with au jus sauce. It was served with a generous portion of frits. The sandwich was stacked high with meat. It was very good. The interior is clean and comfortable. I definitely intend to eat a habit here!

I could not stop eating from the first bite until the last. This quiet little gem is clean, fresh, and super friendly. The food was quick, and super yummy. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was certainly a winner with very crunchy fries. My girlfriend ordered Janelly's chicken bowtie pasta and I had a taste and it too was spot on. After that we were offered some cheesecake that was nicely presented with strawberries and whipped cream. All in all my biggest complaint if any was the price which seemed to be a dollar or two more than I'd care for which ultimately was not a deal breaker, but certainly will keep me from going as often as I'd like. This place was a great lunch date away from a busy day.

Was really surprised by the food here. From the appearance outside and the name I thought it would be another low-class diner. That wasn't the case. Our food was amazing. It looked like it was supposed to come from Carabas. Calamari, chicken alfredo, shrimp and geese were all delicious. Only complaint (sortment) is the waitress was very bland. No smile. No personality. Not rude, but simply not very personal. Would definitely go back.

One of the best burgers I tried!! It's really a great place to eat. I brought my husband there and he was a little sceptical about the outside, but I told him the burgers are good. He's very glad he tried. The fries are also great! Don't be worried about the outside of food is amazing!!

Great atmosphere, great menu, good customer service. The place is set up to be a good sports bar, but currently not alcohol. I would definitely come back for beer and wings. Please keep us updated on the status of it.
