Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant has a nice and quiet atmosphere. The pizza is decent, the gnocchi and Parmigiano are good, and the lasagna is very good. The chocolate mousse and other desserts are good, but the portions are a bit small. The staff is extremely friendly, though a bit shy, and reasonably attentive.
When Pasta King moved from Locsin Street to Barangay Bantayan, I was worried that the quality might suffer. Unfortunately, it did. The portions became smaller and the cozy atmosphere was replaced with a more industrial feel. After being a loyal customer for over 5 years, I will never dine there again. During a recent lunch, a friend found a long hair in their entree, which was extremely off-putting. They sent it back and refused anything else from the kitchen. In hindsight, we all should have done the same. We only received an apology when we were about to leave, and they took the entree off the bill, which wasn't much consolation since it wasn't touched. When we asked to speak to the manager, she seemed annoyed at being called from her office to deal with us, but she did apologize. I vowed to leave this review as I departed.
After being disappointed by the poor quality of food in town, to the point where even McDonald's seemed like a high-class option, I decided to try this restaurant in hopes that the pasta would at least be decent. To my surprise, not only was the pasta good, it was even better than expected! The salads were fresh and the pasta sauces were delicious. In any other circumstances, I may have rated it as just good, but considering how long it had been since I had a satisfying meal, I may have gotten a bit carried away and rated it as very good. I will be here for a while, so I will see if the quality remains consistent.
It's called pasta King, but it does not live up to The name. It hade zero love but in too make The dishes and it didnt taste good. It took them 2 minutes from order to have The food on The table. You cant coock that fast with out everything being just heated up.
This made the staff laughing! Boss, you should come back from Italy or somewhere else to train your staff how to cook, how to be polite and professional. The restaurant was empty. Now I understand why!
