Cafe Racer Dumaguete - Dumaguete City

I was in the mood for more traditional “western fare” and decided to give Cafe Racer a try it is billed as such a place. Wow what a sad disappointment truly the worst food during my entire 19 day stay in Dumaguete. I honestly do not know how you can screw up a simple fried pork chop or fried cheese, but they sure managed to do so. There are many other MUCH better dining choices in Dumaguete, so avoid this one.

The food is delicious, the location is great, and the overall atmosphere and theme are fantastic. It's a wonderful spot to relax with friends and have a few drinks. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is quite spacious and suitable for all ages, however, one downside is that there is a shared loud noise throughout the establishment, even if you prefer a quieter atmosphere. It lacks a designated area for those who are solely there for the food.

We love the food. They have lots of uniquely prepared cooked favorites in their menu to choose from. Price is affordable. We got drunk that night.

NEGATIVE STAR for their food. Its my fault for thinking a party destination can actually make good food. Maybe they should stick to being a party venue and not a restaurant or diner or whatever they claiming to be.m The attitude of their crew maybe can be ignored while partying drunk late at night but not when you are trying to have a good meal with friends, it is difficult to turn a blind eye.
