Hardee's - Dubuque

Better to become, but not with the surrounding competition. Culvers. Even Freddy's, which I rated less than cheap. Hardee is surely a fixed 4. The last two times were better than the last several times before. Mostly customer service.

My 1st experience ever at a Hardee's my fiancee tells me they are better than Carl's Jr, haha not after this experience. After driving around to get the drive thru we spotted two employees giving us dirty looks while smoking . We order or food and upon parking we find that the bun is more than done, looked to be done over a week ago, and the overall the sandwiches were simply lazy and not pleasant. Went in to get my refund for the burnt burger and all the employees are having a social hour around what appears to be the office. I asked for a manager and got Jenny who didnt apologize or offer any sort of solution but simply asked how I paid for the food. I received my refund however, this whole situation is just horrible it is no wonder the restaurant was nearly empty the customer service doesn't exist. Hardees employees really need to learn what it means to provide service not just walk around like mindless zombies and collect a check. The entire shift looked as if they wanted to be anywhere but at work and the food quality reflected that exact attitude. I am shocked they allowed FOOD to come out looking like the picture below.

I expected my early lunch would be fresh. My woman and I went and it was awful. She got the five dollar box. The fries and onion rings were both cold and soggy. The cookie was unbaked. My chicken tenders tasted like they were ran over by a combine and someone left them in the deep fryer for too long. The only thing that could be considered good would be the BBQ sauce. Don't even bother going here.

Stopped this morning to get cinnamon raisin biscuits, and once again they were stale, dry, and had obviously sat for a long time. I had also asked for extra frosting, and did not get extra frosting. The young lady running the drive thru obviously did not want to be there, and did not greet me at all.

Stop and ordered a chocolate shake threw the drive up. Pulled up to the window and observed a employee come in from outside and started to make my shake without washing his hands. The lady came to the window to take my money and I told her no thank you and drove off.That was totally disgusting and dangerous with some much covid19 going around.
