Bidra med feedbackI was in town for three days for business and had a craving for barbecue. I usually enjoy Sonny’s, but this visit was a bit disappointing. I prefer whole, dry-rubbed pork ribs instead of the St. Louis cut they currently serve. When the server brought out my order, the rack of ribs was dried out and clearly had been sitting in a warmer for hours. I told the server that the ribs were unacceptable and requested fresher ones, or I’d choose something else. She returned with a suggestion for sauced ribs, but I insisted on fresh ribs without sauce. Fortunately, it seems the cook understood my request and sent out a fresh, properly cooked rack. In the end, the meal turned out to be quite good, and the server did her best to accommodate me.
Regarding your Brandon location, I recently visited with a group, and I heard comments from three individuals about the cleanliness of the restrooms, which got me wondering about the state of the kitchen, even though they enjoyed the food. I’m planning to go with friends next week, but I must admit I’m feeling a bit hesitant now. Additionally, there were mentions of dead bugs in the window sills. Thank you.
I walked in and was promptly seated. My drink order was taken and delivered quickly. I placed my lunch order, but after about 15 minutes, the waitress came back to inform us that they were out of pork. It's surprising for a BBQ restaurant to run out of BBQ!
