Bidra med feedbackThe service was excellent, with attentive waitstaff, and we decided to sample a few of their cocktails alongside the burger sliders for dinner. The presentation of both the drinks and food was impressive! Sam's chunky chips were cooked perfectly—crispy yet light and fluffy without being greasy. The burgers were slightly on the dry side, but they were still flavorful. While the music wasn’t quite to my taste for a night out in Dublin, I would definitely return for a casual catch-up with friends during a quieter time. One of the main reasons for my return would be their accommodating attitude toward my dog, who had been with me during the fundraising efforts. They kindly allowed him to snooze peacefully under the table while we enjoyed our meal outside in the sun. This consideration was greatly appreciated, especially after a long day, and for that, they earned an extra star!
This is an excellent bar located on Dawson Street. It’s quite spacious, but when it’s busy on a Friday or Saturday night, it can get packed. The food is fantastic, and it’s also a great spot to catch a game—especially rugby, which tends to attract a lively crowd. There’s a large screen that offers a good view from almost anywhere due to the bar's long, narrow layout. The only downside is the staff; their service can be inconsistent. Sometimes, I've received wonderful service and enjoyed friendly banter, but other times it feels like my presence is an inconvenience to them, even when ordering a drink. A little improvement in service would make this place a perfect spot for me!
Ah, the delightful Sam's Bar! We stopped by on Friday evening before dinner, and I ordered a cocktail priced at €11, which is quite reasonable for Dawson Street. The staff were friendly yet not intrusive, and the bar had a lively atmosphere. It was nice to see a diverse mix of ages enjoying the space in Dublin. I look forward to trying the food next time, as it looked and smelled fantastic.
Popped in here for post dinner cocktails. There's a young crowd in here but a good vibe. I like the music and layout of the place. The cocktails are really good too. Their signature ones a different and really good. The smoking jameson could do with milder chillies though #feeltheburn
I ordered a non alcoholic beer and got charged €5.80! In what world can you justify this? When a Guinness costs less... What a joke. Screw non-drinkers. Change your prices asap.
