Bidra med feedbackFrom what I have seen the Kokoro branches have closed down, which is a real shame because their health and happiness bento box was a personal favourite of mine in the city center. It was easy to just walk in and pick one up near the end of the week. If they reopen then I will be back with my loyalty card and all, but if not I will have to look elsewhere.
Service fantastic as always. My fav spot for a bite to eat when in town. Delicious sushi and a reasonable price tag. Hot meal options available also. Sat in on this occasion, seating perfect for those dining with friends or solo as both bench seats and tables are available. Staff are very warm and accommodating.
Great quality and if you go 30 minutes before closing time, you can get everything half price, which is a great idea to avoid throwing good food every night. They close at 21:00 so you can get there at 20:15, choose your sushi tray and get it half price at 20:30
After 8.30pm all their sushi boxes are only 5 euros, so it's easy to get a cheap dinner if you're fast enough. A lot of people know this so keep that in mind if you're not there at the right time.
I bought onigiri, a tuna and a salmon, they are the worse onigiri I have ever tasted.. They use a mould to press the sushi, it should be sushi rice but they used fried rice instead, nothing like in local Japanese restaurants. The shop offers other menu and they are probably better(rice bowl ramen curry), but i think there are many better Japanese restaurants in dublin too.
