The Counter Suffolk Street - Dublin

Was recently in the Suffolk street restaurant with my fiancé and 2 year old niece, the place was really busy and there was no where for us to sit with the buggy that my niece was sleeping in. Normally at this point staff get a bit grouchy cause we're being an inconvenience but not this time! The staff were amazing got us a booth at the back so it'd be quiet and there was more room for us to let my niece sleep and got us a high chair incase she woke up...this made our meal so much more enjoyable as we didn't feel in the way or a nuisance. My niece got to continue her nap and when she woke up the chair was there. I can't thank the staff enough for not shrugging us off immediately and for helping in what can be a very stressful thing to do with a 2 year old!

Best burger eaten in a very long time! Me and my friend had lunch on Saturday in The Counter. The burgers were great and so many choices and combinations ... we will have to go again a few more times to get through all the possible combinations we could think off that would taste good. Add to that Parmesan Fries ... I am drooling just writing this ... and yes when the waitress tells you it is a very big portion enough for 2 ... trust her because it is. The desert selection looked good ... but alas we were so full we could merely look at it with regret yes next time we will share those fries and leave room for some brownies. Also a very fine selection of international beers .. Belgian Palm ... first time I drank this in a restaurant here in Ireland! Add to that friendly staff, good music on the background and a very clean place (even the toilets were clean and that is impressive for a place in the city center). All in all this place was a very pleasant surprise!

Food was fantastic. Staff are so polite and friendly. My daughter birthday today and the staff made her a birthday card so taught full. Would highly recommend here. I’ll be back. posted 02-01-18
