Bidra med feedbackOnly negative experience during an otherwise excellent ‘Lobster festival’ long weekend in Dublin/Dalkey. From the moment we walked in, sour faced manager with the dodgy hair extensions did everything in her power to make us feel uncomfortable unwelcome. Had we not already bought our drinks we would have left on the spot. (For context, we were 4 presentable well behaved middle aged women this was our 1st drink of the evening! The young waitresses seemed terrified of her didn’t look much happier to be there than we were! Reading other reviews, this appears to be standard behaviour for her should urgently consider a job outside hospitality!
Lovely place in dalkey. Friendly staff and great service. Food always good and fresh produce. Nice selection on menu and such a great atmosphere. Really enjoyed the experience.
It has all the warmth of coziness of a good Irish pub but in a great building nestled in Dalkey. Service is great and seating comfortable. Don’t expect healthy food but for pub offerings it does the job.
Lovely food, lovely staff. The fish special, hake , was delicious. Really enjoyable evening. Nice atmosphere and would definitely recommend this as a venue for a relaxing drink in a traditional pub, with lovely food.
Staff are friendly in fairness , food not great €35 for a fillet steak, a shocking price and not great. Ribeye special €26.00 and equally as bad. Conclusion, as pubs are now charging the same these days, if not more than a restaurant, book a restaurant.
