1st time here , it was delicious, one downfall thought the chips were quite overpriced. We will defo be back

Staff were rude. There was a mistake with our order and waited 50 minutes before someone told us. Tables around us had ordered, ate and paid for their food while we were still waiting. Staff were ignoring our table. I had to go up to the counter just to order more drinks. When the food came we had to ask for cutlery, which took ages because the staff were ignoring us. The food was lovely but I was very upset over the poor service. I asked our server why we were being ignored and they just laughed. I told them I was shocked at the poor service and that if they had just said to us there was a mistake and our food will be out soon I wouldn’t have cared. The manager said that desert was on the house but then they tried to charge us when I paid for the bill. I was going to offer to pay but that was the final straw. The food was great, but I won’t be returning to Mad Egg again.
