We had an early Christmas dinner and the food was excellent and the service was generally excellent. However, we left a real acid note. After our seven course tasting and a few bottles of wine, we thought to close the meal with a cocktail and ask for six “Pornstar Martini’s”. What they served us was absolutely disgusting. It didn't look like what we demanded and it didn't taste like what we demanded. It was extremely bad to think of the bar staff that they could blur us so, instead of just being honest and saying either they did not know how to make it or did not have the ingredients, especially for a self-proclaimed “friendly, attentive service in a luxurious dining area”. We complained to our server that didn't seem too sharp to fix so the manager called. He may not have disturbed himself, as he was rude and offered us nothing for free to compensate for the sour taste that the evening has left open. Instead of leaving the restaurant after a nice evening, we left annoying to their satisfaction to take €1300 from us, but not the desire to solve a simple situation. Is a free round of drinks actually it costs something in the big scheme of things? This made me feel compelled to write this final negative review. You can and should really be better.
TastingMenu Negronis perfect wines good two snacks at the beginning: amazing bread excellent Thought we were wet for a great night Lobster and Kohlrabi Lobster and had much extracted from its taste, from was too long in a marinade or whatever. Scallops ok a little over boiled. Brill ok Pigeon ok Pre Dessert excellent dessert good service well besides head waiter who told me I was the first to give negative feedback on lobster.
