Bidra med feedbackMy husband and I were walking through the pedestrian area in Dublin in search of Italian food. We checked Dolce Sicily’s menu and weren’t quite sure. The owner saw our hesitation and told us we wouldn’t be sorry. He was so right! The food was incredible!! We shared the meat plate and Nona’s pasta; both excellently prepared. The wait staff was helpful, polite, and efficient. After dinner, we had a choice of the fabulous, made-on-premises dessert. We were not sorry with our choices. When it came time to pay, we tried to use our American Express card, but, unfortunately, they do not take that card. We didn’t have enough Euros with us, and the owner was so gracious. We fortunately had another card with us. That was the only drawback to our incredible dining experience.
Frequent lunches at Dolce Sicily have firmly established it as one of my preferred dining destinations in Dublin City Center. Each visit impresses with its remarkable consistency in quality and service. The food served at Dolche Sicelly consistently achieves a high standard, making every meal a delight. Complementing their fantastic food, the friendly and accommodating staff create an atmosphere that’s both warm and inviting. Don't miss out!
Great menu but an awful setting for dinner. We were sent up the stairs to the third level which was very cramped and not clean. We were seated extremely close to a group six with two young, very noisy children and another table of two who spoke very loudly (probably due to the noise from children and the large group). As we left we saw another area that looked bigger and had only one table of two. While it didn’t look clean at least it would have been quite. Why we were crammed in with the large group was hard to understand. We quickly ate one pasta dish each (which was well prepared) and left as soon as we could. It’s too bad this place is not clean and doesn’t spread people out properly as the food is good. But the overall experience was so bad we recommend avoiding it.
Nice place to have coffee, it was good. The food was ordinary. Red velvet cake was dry , and cream not tasty . Busy place , the staff looks serious and sullen as if they are the bodyguards of this place
Fantastic meal last night in Dolce Sicily. Friendly staff, fabulous food would highly recommend staff, food and atmosphere.
