Bidra med feedbackI absolutely love this restaurant! They truly know how to make any occasion special, and the food is outstanding. The cocktails are not only unique but also incredibly delicious.
Excellent atmosphere and delicious food! While the menu is limited, the variety of dishes available is impressive. The Risotto was the best I've ever tasted; it was light and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of creaminess and a refreshing citrus touch. This place is definitely worth a visit!
As for the drinks we tried: - **Saints Senners**: It tasted very straightforward, just like lime juice. - **The Bourbonist**: It was watered down and lacked flavor. - **Smoked Old-Fashioned**: This one was okay. - **Extra Dirty Martini**: Also just okay. For the food: - **Texas Kingfish Aguachili**: It was quite fishy and had an overpowering anchovy flavor, making it too salty. - **Spanish Octopus**: This dish was fantastic. Overall, not the best experience.
My friend and I came to Tillie?s for our anniversary dinner and it was not disappointed! Located on Camp Lucy, Tillie?s brings a surprisingly elegant and satisfying meal. To begin, the service was great, not too much to interrupt our dinner, but enough to make us welcome. We did things in the non-traditional way, but it was great. We started with the Rosemary Focaccia and Burrata. The combination of soft but crusty bread, the acidity of tomatoes and the cream of Burrata really exploded in our mouth, delish. Then we have the Spanish octopus with the truffle spaghetti. An unexpected but beautiful combination of aromas. The octopus was perfectly cooked, not chewing and sign me for all truffles. We ended with catching the day that was Snapper and that was probably the most underwhelming of the dishes. If I could do it again, I would get two more starters, the networks are kind of typical and not so exciting. For dessert we have the s?mores panna cotta and the yellow peach sun. Definitely the sunset! It is so balanced and not too sweet or too fruity. The Panna Cotta was a bit too dark for me and not enough scatter. Overall, definitely for a nice dinner away from all hectic and Bustle Austin.
Tillies has a great Menu and fun drinks! This will be a bit on the pricier side but, I would consider the experience worth it. We ordered the Spicy Brussel sprouts and it may have been our favorite item ordered! The entire menu has Gluten Free labels so that is a big plus for me. The True Bird Smoked Chicken and Painted Hills NY Strip came next. The chicken was OKAY. It wasn't really that great to be honest, but wow! the steak was amazing. It came with a side of potato's that were to die for. Just as a side note; the customer service was pretty bad. At least for our experience she hardly cracked a smile. People are going through tough times and it didn't really bother us, we just took note. We did however catch a cool conversation between another customer and another waiter surrounding the history of this building. Pretty cool!
