Flores Mexican - Dripping Springs

In the late afternoon. I waited a few minutes to sit down, although several employees run around and I was just staffed. once finally sat, waited for over 20 minutes, without anyone ever coming to deliver chips / salsa or take a drink order. finally abandoned and left. very disappointing eating here is average, but wanted to support a local restaurant. can never go back to such a bad experience.

This place is about the only Mexican restaurant in the area and it’s a shame that local folks think it’s great. Food is sub-par and the service is the same. The rice was cold and hard and the refried beans tasted like they came straight out of a can.Definitely NOT the kind of person experience we were expecting.

My family and I were in the Restaurant on Saturday afternoon 05/14/2022. We were having a great time. Service, Food and Drinks were great. I had a medical episode and EMS was called. Everyone there including customers took great concern for me and my family. I just want to thank everyone for taking care of me and family. We have been through a lot these passed two years. I am so thankful to you all. To the customer that took care of our bill. Thank you! Thank you! and May God Bless you richly. Thank you each and everyone of you.

On a trip to the area. Walked in to eat lunch. Greeted by a sign that said do not seat your selves see the hostess. The NOT was erased intentionally, accidentally? but the see hostess was still there. We stopped at the hostess station because we were unsure. A woman with keys dangling from her waistband, probably someone important, stopped and said Yes... . That may have been a sign. The food was poor. I have lived in Texas for 30 years. This is what you make in your own kitchen with a can of Old Paso Enchilada Sauce and Great Value 90 Second Spanish Style Rice. This is nothing like food found in a local taqueria.....for real. Also, it is so much more expensive than real Mexican food. The service was poor as well. The food did arrive fairly quickly. One meal was missing a taco which when it did arrive was soggy. Our waiter was not unkind but once he took the order he did not check on us again. We had to wave him down for the rest of a meal, a drink refill, and the bill. Honestly, we would not go back.

Decent Mexican food and ambiance…our 2nd time visiting here while in Drip from Houston. The margaritas, chips salsa and queso with beef are delicious! Service is good however check your food to go thoroughly…we ordered fajitas to go for room later after eating lunch in restaurant, got to room and tortillas were missing. Also ordered queso with ground beef to go and the beef was missing…highly disappointing on the to go order.
