Bidra med feedbackWhile I visited friends in France, the little girl wanted me to go to his favorite place for dinner. We had a wonderful meal! I like the fact that this is a restaurant on a farm where they grow what they serve. I won't even embarrass myself by telling you what we had, but I can tell you the food was great! We started with a record that could have been a main course, everything on itself, then came the main course! We weren't in the inn, we just had lunch at the restaurant.
Nice place to go. Nice people. Good and good local cuisine and very fresh. Nice room. Nice breakfast. Nice place to go back.
I visited this restaurant many times over 20 years and it is better than ever. The property was a grain mill and the buildings are very interesting. It is a farm where most of the dishes are served in the restaurant. That's... I had 2 meals, both were excellent. It is rustic, with a variety of traditional benches and Alsatian chairs (not the most convenient) and a large terrace with typical outdoor tables and chairs. The seating is not the most convenient, but the food is excellent for the price.
Snails in garlic butter (a little salty according to my wife, but fine by me). Son had a pork cutlet better than in Germany in his opinion. Daughter had only a giant ice cream which she was very happy with. The Pinot Blanc went...down very well too and the waitress looked after us very well. Not the cheapest meal but excellent quality.
We ate here with our family--they were able to squeeze us in last minute which was great. The food was all very yummy--cooked leeks and the schnitzels were tender and tasty. I would go back and highly recommend!
