Providence New American Kitchen

Service was good. Food was ok, but nothing special. Portions were very small. An $8 dessert had about 2 tablespoons of food. Too expensive for what you get.

Service was a bit slow, but they were fairly crowded. The crowd also made it quite noisy. But the ambiance and food was good.

As a vegetarian, it would have been nice to know that they only seemingly vegetarian dish was served in a chicken broth. Secondly, our waiter proceeded to bring the entire table drinks after half of us specifically stated we were interested in seconds. That is certainly one way to raise the tab. Overall, it was a huge disappointment and we won't be returning.

Service was wonderful, but the food was lacking. Mostly overcooked which was disappointing considering it wasn't very busy and should have been easy to get things out on target. The porkchop was the only saving grace. Meatloaf and Salmon were overcooked. Shrimp and grits were chewy and dry (Meat) and too runny grits. The scallops were cooked well but not sure what the corn side was kinda like eating hard seed corn...

Food was totally over priced, bland, small portions and no flavor. Service was outstanding though!
