Bidra med feedbackI visited last week and the week prior due to a Groupon but was pleasantly surprised both times at how delicious every item I received was. The first time I got the three meat plate. Beef, chicken and kebab. Beef was cooked exactly as I ordered it, medium. Chicken was tender, a little bland but the garlic sauce quickly fixed that. Hummus was exactly what you'd expect and the salad was fresh and tasty. Second time I got the chicken wrap and a little too much sauce for my taste but overall delicious.
Good food a bit of a wait but it was pretty good. Small nachos is like a full plate. Nothing small about them.
I feel like this restaurant is doing their best. The contact info for the owners is easily accessible, which I find totally awesome. However, I feel like the presentation, the dishes themselves, what you get for the price, still needs a lot of work. I ordered the beef wrap gyro. It was a lot of pita bread and the inside was only minimally full. They could have put more greens in it to make it look thicker. The vegan meat was tasteful and rich but it still lacked texture. It was $11 and did not include extra sauce. Had I known what I would be getting, is only pay $8. The food truck itself was a little misleading. They had drawings of cupcakes, hamburgers, sandwiches, and other things. When I saw the truck, I didn't know what the hell they sold. It's a nice mom and popp place to support, but I hope they Evolve their dishes so that there is another vegan restaurant option out there.
