Schurmanns im Park - Dortmund

The restaurant Schürmanns in the park is unfortunately permanently closed, as the city of DO did not want to continue the lease contract at acceptable conditions.

Exterior 60s construction style, inside great ambience. Friendly service. Creative great cuisine, good wines, fair prices. Joined with a tour in the Westfalenpark class. Actually, you can't say it anymore, or you're running a risk of not getting a place....

I thought I'd go to the Schürrmanns in the park. Together with my small family(woman and 2 children). When we drove to the parking lot, we already took a 5€ fee. When we went into the Westphalia Park, we took a really high fee. Without eating anything without us sitting at the table without doing anything: I already paid good €20 out of my wallet. And for that, unfortunately, the restaurant is too bad to spend this money to get into the restaurant. I'm sorry. Service was okay. The food was normal. My wife cooks just as well. The restaurant was empty. We were the only guests. That was a little horrible, because I felt 5 service personnel in the restaurant. Any service power could have brought us a glass individually to the table. Is there a profit for the owner? Well, that's not my construction site. The restaurant feels very cold and empty. Feelless. Unfortunately, the visit was a waste.

We had a beautiful celebration in the small circle in the Schürmanns (9 people). We were already allowed to choose from the big card (but was also so agreed) and the service and the food were great. The dishes came at the same time and super hot on the table and it was left in a reasonable time between the courses. All guests were satisfied!

I met the Schürmanns at a friend's wedding, it was a beautiful evening. In the years after that we were very often eating and brunching in the Schürmanns, unfortunately the quality left more and more. Now after a good one year break we were back there, first to brunch, very good in old usual tasty way, top service, then for dinner, very good food, very recommended
